Quick Take
• Restaurant type: Classic Italian fine dining with a Venetian heritage
• Atmosphere: Polished but lively; business lunch energy with a stylish dining room
• Price range: $80–$150 per person depending on seafood or steak choices
• Reservation tip: Dinner reservations are recommended, but lunch can be easier to book.

Overview

Cipriani is one of those restaurant names that carries serious history. The brand traces back to Venice and the legendary Harry’s Bar, birthplace of the Bellini cocktail and a handful of classic Italian dishes that somehow became global staples. The Las Vegas location sits inside Wynn Las Vegas and follows the same playbook: polished service, a classic Italian menu, and a dining room that looks like it could have been lifted straight out of a stylish 1950s transatlantic liner.

It’s a bit of a walk to the restaurant entrance and its on the inside curve so keep an eye out or you will walk right by it, like I did.

The concept here is straightforward Italian cooking done with precision rather than reinvention. Fresh pasta (more on this later), simple seafood preparations, and a handful of signature desserts anchor the menu. It’s the kind of place where the ingredients and execution matter more than flashy presentation.

Ambiance

The dining room at Cipriani feels intentionally classic. Polished wood walls, deep blue and caramel leather chairs, and large round tables give it a bit of an old-school European restaurant feel.

The bar anchors the room and is surrounded by bar seating, which looked like a great spot for cocktails or a solo meal. The staff is easy to spot in crisp white jackets, and managers in suits were visible circulating throughout the room.

During our visit the crowd leaned heavily toward the business lunch crowd, even in the early evening — conversations were lively and the room had a steady hum of noise. It’s not rowdy, but it’s definitely not a quiet romantic hideaway either. The open layout lets sound travel a bit.

One small operational note: the menu font is surprisingly tiny. It’s almost comically small. We ended up taking photos of the menu and zooming in on our phones to read it (humbling but as they say, time marches on). If you rely on reading glasses, definitely bring them.

Best Tables to Request

• Best atmosphere: tables near the bar area give you the best view of the room and service action
• Quieter tables: request seating toward the outer edges of the dining room
• Tables to avoid: central tables can feel a bit exposed and noisy during busy service unless you want the action.

Menu Breakdown

The menu follows a classic Italian structure with a focus on traditional preparations.

Appetizers and salads include dishes like tuna tartare, lobster salad, prosciutto with melon, and fritto misto. It’s a mix of lighter starters and a few indulgent fried options.

The pasta section is where Cipriani really shines. Options include gnocchi with gorgonzola, rigatoni Bolognese, tagliolini with pesto, and spaghetti with mixed seafood. Many of the pastas are made with Cipriani’s own pasta products, which are actually sold online.

The pasta was so good I asked if you could buy it. Good news — Cipriani sells their pasta online, and you can buy it on Amazon

Main courses lean toward seafood and classic Italian proteins such as branzino, Dover sole, veal piccata, and lamb chops. There’s also a Josper grill section for steaks and grilled seafood.

Desserts stay traditional with tiramisu, chocolate cake, and the famous vanilla meringue cake.

Dining Experience

We started with cocktails — a Margarita and a Mangorita.

The Margarita was solid, well balanced and refreshing. That said, if you’re chasing a next-level margarita at Wynn, the spicy margarita at Parasol Bar still holds the crown. The Mangorita, however, stood out with a bright, natural mango flavor that worked surprisingly well.

Breadsticks arrived first, followed shortly by the bread basket. The olive oil and balsamic appeared after our cocktails were already on the table, which felt slightly out of sequence. Not a big deal, but the timing could be tightened.

For an appetizer we ordered the Fritto Misto with calamari and shrimp. This was excellent. The breading was light and crisp, the shrimp were cooked perfectly, and the marinara dipping sauce was genuinely outstanding — bright, rich, and incredibly flavorful.

a plate of fried food

The standout dish of the meal was easily the spaghetti with mixed seafood. The pasta itself had fantastic texture and flavor. It was good enough that I actually asked the server if the pasta was homemade. It turns out it’s Cipriani pasta, which they sell online.

The sauce was the real star. It was subtle, balanced, and layered with seafood flavor without feeling heavy. One of those dishes that tastes simple but clearly took real skill to execute properly.

We also ordered the Mediterranean branzino, which arrived lightly grilled and seasoned. The fish was fresh, delicate, and paired nicely with broccoli rabe. It was a clean, simple preparation that let the fish shine.

For dessert we tried the signature vanilla meringue cake. This thing is massive and visually dramatic when it hits the table. Inside, the filling is incredibly creamy — almost like a mascarpone or tiramisu-style cream layered between soft sponge.

a slice of cake on a plate

We immediately declared it the best slice of cake we ever had, which is high praise considering how many desserts we have tucked away. Discussions were had on coming back for a cocktail and second slice.

Must Order / Skip It

Must Order
• Spaghetti with mixed seafood – exceptional pasta with a beautifully balanced sauce
• Fritto Misto – perfectly fried calamari and shrimp with outstanding marinara
• Vanilla meringue cake – massive, creamy, and absolutely worth ordering

Skip It
• Margarita – good, but Wynn has better cocktail options elsewhere

What It Costs

• Cocktails: $20–$22
• Appetizers: $28–$40
• Pasta dishes: $30–$45
• Seafood mains: $60–$85
• Steaks and premium cuts: $90–$200
• Dessert: $21–$25
• Expected total per person: $90–$140 depending on wine or cocktails

How I Booked (Amex Platinum + Resy)

I booked through Resy using my Amex Platinum, which offers up to $100 in dining credits per quarter (up to $400 per year) at select restaurants.

Cipriani qualifies, so this is an easy way to offset the cost if you’re already planning to dine here:

Practical Tips

• Bring reading glasses — the menu font is tiny
• The seafood pasta is easily one of the best dishes on the menu
• If you want a stronger cocktail program, grab a drink at Parasol Bar before dinner
• Portions are generous enough to share, especially pasta dishes
• The vanilla meringue cake is big enough for multiple people

Booking Tip (How to Book Wynn the Right Way)

If you’re planning to stay at Wynn, this is one of those hotels where how you book actually matters.

Wynn is a true luxury property, and bookings here should really be made through a Virtuoso travel advisor. When you book through a Virtuoso agent, you can typically get added perks like daily breakfast, resort credits, room upgrades (when available), and priority service—often at the same rate as booking direct.

If you’re booking luxury hotels like Wynn without using a Virtuoso advisor, you’re honestly leaving value on the table.

Never heard of Vituoso? Don’t worry I got you covered with this article to learn more.

Verdict

Cipriani delivers exactly what it promises: classic Italian food executed at a high level in a polished setting. It’s not trying to reinvent anything, and that’s part of the appeal.

The pasta is the highlight here. When a restaurant can take something as simple as spaghetti and make it memorable, you know the kitchen is doing something right.

Add attentive service, a lively dining room, and one of the best desserts at Wynn, and it becomes an easy place to recommend.

Worth It?

• Go if: you want classic Italian food done extremely well in a stylish dining room
• Skip if: you’re looking for a quiet romantic restaurant or a cutting-edge culinary experience
• Best dish: Spaghetti with mixed seafood
• Pro tip: split the vanilla meringue cake — it’s huge and absolutely worth saving room for 🍰
