The only palace in the United States is here and some of the biggest surfing competitions occur on the North Shore. Pair that with world class shopping at the most valuable mall in the US and you have the makings of an interesting vacation. Foodies and history buffs delight on this island and the natural beauty is only matched by the neighboring islands. Welcome to the gathering place.
