Classic Roman Hotel
In the style of most European cities, Aleph offers a large welcoming lobby and ornate design aspects. Pillars and marble adorn the steps and floors leading to cigar room, restaurant, rooms, and peitite elevator.

Updated With Modern Amenities
Adding modern attributes to classic properties is a Curio by Hilton hallmark. One of those adjustments is Aleph’s approach to the gym and spa areas. Occupying a former vault, the gym features modern equipment with unique European lighting in the shadown of a massive bank door.
Spa amenities are available in the basement opposite the vault with modern elements and classic Roman marble.
The property features two pools, the rooftop pool features a bar and restaurant with views of the Eternal City.
Suite
I was fortunate to secure a suite at check-in and was pleased with the additional space. The premium bedding provided a premium experience; the extra sitting area and desk allowed me to separate work and leisure from rest.
The bathroom in Suite 200 was a modern European dream with one interesting oddity. Dual vanities and high-quality finishes add to its luxurious feel. A bidet adds an element of European old-world charm as well.
For all of its charm, the bathroom oddly features two showers. One was clearly a conversion from a bathtub with shower over the top and the other was an originally designed shower. In more than a thousand nights in hotel beds, I’ve seen a lot of quirky designs but this is the first time I’ve come across two showers in the same bathroom.
Hilton’s Global Service
One advantage of Aleph is Hilton’s global service offering. The ability to earn points, status and enjoy the benefits of Hilton affiliation make Aleph Rome Hotel head and shoulders above many Rome alternatives.
Diamond guests, as I was during my stay, may receive a Diamond amenity. In my case, I found an elaborate dessert tray with handmade chocolates (not pictured) and fresh fruit.
Additionally, I received bonus Hilton Honors points for my stay, elite-qualifying nights, free high-speed wifi, and an upgrade to a suite.

Value
At a cash rate of $200-250/nt, this central Roman hotel is a good value. Adding the advantages of the Hilton Honors program only enhanced our experience, providing benefits such as full breakfast, a suite upgrade and accumulation of points and status.
However, the cost when utilizing Hilton Honors points is less of a deal. The base rate for the property is 80,000 points and while this aligns with the general value of Hilton Honors points (0.4¢/point), there are better places to use points for the stay. Conclusion
The Aleph Hotel Rome is a stylish, modern Hilton property with a great location. The staff was helpful, amenities were premium and the charm of an old European hotel with the comforts of today was a terrific value whether spending points or money.
